Typical steps to send samples for testing to Canty Labs:
Customer:
Place and order for sample analysis with CANTY. Send this form and an SDS for each material to lab@jmcanty.com for
review by our safety team. Once the material has been reviewed and an order is in place, CANTY will provide a sample
number and address for you to ship materials to.
When ready to ship, place the sample material(s) in suitable container(s) for shipment to Canty. Customer must ship in an appropriate DOT container and is responsible for local and Federal regulations, compliance and disclosures. For materials that cannot be shipped rental equipment can be supplied and is recommended in these cases. Use as many containers as necessary for proper analysis of particles. All samples must arrive with SDS, Canty sample tracking # and completed questionnaire. Include sample preparation instructions if appropriate. Sample test data with the current method of testing is also greatly appreciated.
Canty:
After analysis of the sample is completed, we will return the results in the form of a written report with graphical illustration of measurement results. The report will identify the procedure we used to arrive at our results and show the particle size distribution and typical pictures of the sample. A follow up meeting will be held with between Canty, the local rep, and the customer to review this report in detail and establish next steps. The sample will then be held for two weeks. After that time it will be disposed of or returned to the customer unless Canty is notified by the company that it needs to be retained for further testing.
